Italiano: Questo porta lastre (per formati 13x18cm) ha forma parallelepipeda ed è costituito da un telaio in legno con due facce scorrevoli anch'esse in legno All'interno, da una parte è inserita una lastra in legno con maniglia in metallo che serviva per tenere posizionata la lastra fotografica, dall'altra è inserito un vetro ricoperto con un retino a sottili righe nere Su uno dei lati lunghi del telaio sono inserite due viti che tengono in posizione il vetro interno. Queste viti sono mobili e i terminali hanno una scala graduata da 0 a 4 con tacche ogni 0,2.
Funzione

Custodia delle lastre fotografiche da utilizzare con apparecchi da studio o da terrazza Si potevano inserire lastre di formati 13x18cm.

Modalità d'uso
All'interno dello chassis si inseriva la lastra fotografica coperta dalla luce con lo sportello scorrevole Posizionato lo chassis nella parte posteriore di un apparecchio fotografico da studio o da terrazza e preparato l'apparecchio per lo scatto (inquadratura, messa a fuoco, ecc.) facendo scorrere lo sportello si esponeva la lastra alla luce entrante attraverso l'obiettivo e si impressionava l'emulsione fotografica con l'immagine scelta.
