Summary[edit]

Description
English: During WW1, Indian troops of the British Empire who were wounded on the Western Front were hospitalised in the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. The Hindu soldiers who died were cremated at this site overlooking the city. The memorial was erected in 1920.
