Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a chert breccia, a scarce lithology. Breccia is a poorly sorted rock with angular large grains. In this case, the large grains are composed of chert, a quartzose, cryptocrystalline sedimentary rock.

This interesting material is consistent with the host rocks / matrix of mineral specimens that I've seen from Missouri's Tri-State Mining District.

Locality: probably derived from the Tri-State Mining District, southwestern Missouri, USA
