INDIRIZZO: Fondamenta dei Mendicanti - Castello La chiesa, ora parte dell’Ospedale di Venezia, era la cappella dell’ospizio dei Mendicanti una delle più importanti realtà assistenziali di Venezia. Il complesso venne realizzato da Vincenzo Scamozzi (1601-1631) che collocò la chiesa con la semplice facciata palladiana tra le due ali degli edifici destinati a ricovero. All’interno si conserva Sant’Elena con la croce, unica opera lasciata a Venezia dal celebre pittore bolognese Guercino. Qui: Tintoretto DOVE: Sant’Orsola e le sue Compagne REALIZZAZIONE: 1570 - 1570 La grande pala venne realizzata su commissione della Compagnia di Sant’Orsola, fondata da Angela Merici, che si occupava di supportare le vedove e le giovani indigenti. ADRES : Fondamenta dei Mendicanti - Castello Wenecja Kościół, będący obecnie częścią szpitala weneckiego, był kaplicą Hospicjum żebraków, jedną z najważniejszych organizacji charytatywnych w Wenecji. Kompleks został zbudowany przez Vincenzo Scamozzi (1601-1631), który umieścił kościół z prostą fasadą palladiańską między dwoma skrzydłami budynków wykorzystywanych jako schronienie. Wewnątrz znajduje się Sant'Elena z krzyżem, jedyne dzieło pozostawione w Wenecji przez słynnego bolońskiego malarza Guercino Tutaj Tintoretto Święta Urszula i towarzysze. (1570) Duży ołtarz powstał na zamówienie Compagnia di Sant'Orsola, założonej przez Angelę Merici, która była odpowiedzialna za wspieranie wdów i młodych osób. Na ołtarzu, pierwszy po prawej stronie wizerunek świętej patronki wraz z jedenastoma tysiącami towarzyszy, którzy zostali nią umęczeni. |
