Description De Christuskirche te nl:Windhoek, de hoofdstad van nl:Namibië. Gelegen op een heuvel is deze kerk het bekendste landmark van de stad. In de kerk worden op bronzen plaquettes de Duitse soldaten herdacht, die sneuvelden tijdens de oorlog tegen de Herero's en de Nama's aan het begin van de nl:20e eeuw. Het aantal gesneuvelde Duitsers valt echter in het niet bij het aantal omgebrachten Herero's en Nama's, die overigens nauwelijks worden herdacht met monumenten.
