English: This copper baldachin in the Sint Janskerk (St Jans Church) at Waalwijk (Netherlands) has the shape of a temple made of leather skins. It was a gift from the leather tanners in Waalwijk and created by silversmith Marinus Zwollo in 1924, based on a design of architect H.W. Valk.
Nederlands: Dit koperen baldakijn in de Sint Janskerk te Waalwijk heeft de vorm van een tempel van leerhuiden. Het was een gift van de leerlooiers van Waalwijk en werd vervaardigd door edelsmid Marinus Zwollo in 1924 naar een oorspronkelijk ontwerp van architect H.W. Valk. |
