Description
English: Looking back to the west after entering the area leading to the inner courtyard of the Erzurum Citadel (entrance visible here on the right) in eastern Turkey. Elevation 1926 meters. According to an inscription, the clock tower (Tepsi Minaret) was built by Muzaffer Gazi (1124-1132).
