This chalk drawing by PH Gosse shows enlarged drawings of shrimp claws. The upper drawing is labelled Squilla Desm. and the lower Cerapus Whitei. Line drawings of these can be found is Gosse’s book ‘A naturalist’s rambles on the Devonshire coast’ plate 22.
