Close view of hollows created when ice left the ground. This terrain indicates that much frozen water is in the ground.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The ground on Mars contains much ice. When ice leaves various features are created. Here, large hollows have developed. The ice will leave the ground by the process of sublimation as the atmospheric conditions do not permit melting at present.
