English: Clyde du Vernet Hunt, painter and sculptor, graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Techonlogy, was the son of attorney and photography pioneer Leavitt Hunt and his wife Katherine L. (Jarvis) Hunt. Clyde du Vernet Hunt kept a studio in Paris, as well as a residence at Weathersfield Bow, Vermont, where his father Leavitt Hunt lived as well as his grandfather William Jarvis, a diplomat, farmer and businessman.
