Description

Montréal, Place des Arts

Propolis est une installation sonore et lumineuse qui s'inspire du fonctionnement collectif des abeilles. Conçue par des étudiants en médias interactifs de l'École des médias de l'UQAM, l'installation se veut interactive et ludique; les utilisateurs devant, pour participer, se mobiliser collectivement afin de créer une substance naturelle aux propriétés dépolluantes qui, une fois le réservoir rempli, déclenchera un éloge lumineux et musical. Le pavillon Président-Kennedy de l'UQAM étant connecté en temps réel à l'évolution de Propopolis. Le projet a pour but de mener à une réflexion sur l'importance du travail des pollinisateurs et de leur impact sur le bien-être de la planète.
