Deze cartoon werd in 1884 in het tijdschrift Puck gepubliceerd naar aanleiding van de openbaring van het archief van David D. Colton, waaruit opgemaakt kon worden dat Huntington gebruik maakte van de corruptie van de Congresleden.
English: This is a cartoon showing how Colis P. Huntington is paying money in order to bribe the Congressmen. This cartoon was published in 1884 in the magazine Puck, after litigation opened David D. Colton's archives including letters with detailed descriptions of bribes to government officials from Huntington. |
