English: North side of 2500 block of 13th Street in Columbus, Nebraska. The block is part of the Columbus Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The building partly visible at right, with the "Imagine That" sign, is the former LaBook Ladies Shop, at 2508 13th St, built ca. 1923. The dark brick building beside it with the four white upper windows is the J. W. Weaver building, at 2510, built in 1919. The building beside it ("The Groom's Store") is the former Reece Shoe Co., at 2512, built ca. 1913. The leftmost building, with "Columbus Music" on the awning, is the Hansen Building, at 2514, built ca. 1914. All four buildings are contributing properties in the Historic District. |
