Description
Français : Combat de Berry-au-Bac (5 mars 1814). La ville, gardée par 2 000 cosaques russes du général Wintzingerode, est attaquée par la cavalerie française qui disperse ses adversaires et s'empare du pont qui permet de franchir l'Aisne. Rejetés sur Corbeny, les Russes perdent 200 prisonniers, deux canons et leurs bagages. Château de versailles N° mv 2646. Le tableau originel comporte un ciel plus grand.
