Description

Consul General Lochman talks about U.S.-Canada relations with local Rotary group

Consul General Laura Lochman spoke to members of the Calgary West Rotary Club about the Obama administration's foreign policy goals and the importance of the U.S.-Canada relationship, especially with respect to cross-border trade, military cooperation, counter-terrorism efforts, energy security and protecting the environment. In her address to club members, the Consul General remarked that the United States and Canada enjoy a strong bond based on shared values and mutual respect. “The underlying truth of the U.S. Canadian relationship is the depth of its interlinkedness,” Lochman said.
