Copyleft symbol represented in gold on a red socialist banner.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dubbed by some as the Free Culture / Creative Communist flag, it depicts the copyleft symbol in gold color in the upper left canton of a red socialist banner, inspired by the flag of the Soviet Union. Concepted by online users in early 2005 in response to Bill Gates' description of free culture advocates as "modern-day sort of communists".
