English: Cora Pearl was born Emma Elizabeth (Eliza) Crouch, in Plymouth, England, on 17 December 1836. She was baptized at St. Andrew's Church in Plymouth on 27 December 1837 along with her sister Hannah Lydia Crouch. Cora Pearl was a famous courtesan during the Second Empire period and the beginning of the French Third Republic. She died in Paris, 16th arrondissement, in France, on 8 July 1886.

Elle est baptisée à l'église Saint-André à Plymouth le 27 décembre 1837 en même temps que sa sœur Hannah Lydia Crouch. Cora Pearl est une célèbre courtisane au cours de la période du Second Empire et au début de la Troisième République française. Elle meurt à Paris, 16e arrondissement, en France, le 8 juillet 1886.
