| Description |
English: Norte da Cordillera Blanca no Perú. Em azul turquesa o Lago Parón, reservatório natural de morena, maior da cordilheira. Ao Sul, entre as neves em branco, é possível localizar, por sua sombra em preto, o Pico Huandoy (6.395 m), segundo mais alto da cordilheira. À esq. da imagem o vale do Rio Santa, áreas agrícolas em verde. Área urbana de Caraz em salpicado branco, á esq. da imagem. A 2.256 m é uma confortável base para trekking e alpinismo na região / Peru´s Cordillera Blanca Northern sector. Lake Parón, range largest, a moraine natural reservoir, in turquoise blue. At South, between snow in white, one can find by its shadow, Huandoy Peak; cordillera second highest (20,980 ft). Santa River valley is at image left, agriculture in green. Caraz urban area at image left, in white saltpepper. At 7,400 ft, it´s a nice trekking and mountaineering base there.
