Parking bay in Cornwall Road N15 opposite Turners Court flats, adjacent to The Laurels Health Centre, and near the junction with St Ann's Road. The photo below shows the other end of this parking bay. Having double white lines at one (or both) ends did not comply with Department for Transport regulations. The Parking Service may wish to view these and consider correcting the parking bay lines. Original Message ----- From : Haringey Parking Service To : Cllr Alan Stanton Sent : Wednesday, 2 June 2010 12:54 PM Subject : LBH 78922 non compliant markings Cornwall Road LBH 78922 Thank you for informing us of the non-compliant road markings in the Cornwall Road area. As you will be aware, during the past 18 months we have identified and amended a number of compliant issues related to parking controls and I can assure you that we are dedicated to addressing compliant issues within the borough. The road markings in question were implemented as part of a Pay & Display scheme in 2003. Following your e-mail an officer visited the site and assessed the whole scheme. It has been confirmed that the road markings are non-compliant and that the signs are no longer compliant with the current regulations. I have therefore instructed the lines and signs to be amended and for enforcement to be suspended until completion of this work. |
