Description
English: The picture shows the sillhouette of the picturesque island of Coron in the background juxtaposed with the coastal reclamation project undertaken by the Coron local government in 2020. The project led to the displacement of fisherfolk and the destruction of nearby reefs upon which the latter depended for their livelihood. The picture was shot from Mt. Tapyas.
Tagalog: Pinakikita sa larawan ang tanawin ng isla ng Coron sa malayo kasama ang reklamasyong isinagawa ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Coron noong 2020. Nagdulot ang reklamasyon sa pagkakapalayas ng mga mamamalakaya at pagkawasak ng mga bahura na pinagkukunan nila ng kabuhayan. Kuha mula sa Bundok tapyas ang larawan.
