44,70 cm x 31,50 cm Lámina cromolitografiada de 1874, obra de Francisco Aznar García. La lámina fue publicada en la publicación periódica Museo Español de Antigüedades (tomo III, págs.113-132). Representación de coronas y diversas piezas del Tesoro de Guarrazar, haciendo constar el objeto y su escala, realizadas con tintas de color entre las que destacan las doradas. Con el nº I se dibujan la corona de Suintila y la cruz que se colgó de ella, con el II, la corona votiva de Teodosio, con el III la cruz votiva de Lucecio. El IV corresponde a un fragmento de diadema de una corona, la V es una esmeralda grabada, cuya impronta se representa aumentada con el nº VI para percibir el motivo representado. Sin número, en la parte baja de la lámina y a ambos lados de las letras colgantes de la corona de Suintila, se representan dos brazos de la cruz procesional de Guarrazar. De las piezas que están representadas en esta lámina, todas del Tesoro de Guarrazar, sólo los brazos de la cruz procesional están en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional, y les corresponde el nº de inventario 52561. Las otras piezas son las del Palacio Real, si bien la corona de Suintila lamentablemente desapareció en 1921. Lámina cromolitografiada sobre papel blanqueado y verjurado de alto gramaje, encuadernada en cartoné y cosida. Estampación centrada, en caja de 36 cms de altura y 24,4 de anchura, dejando márgenes por sus cuatro lados, albergando en el superior e inferior los datos referentes a su contenido. Forma parte del artículo de Juan de Dios de la Rada y Delgado "Coronas de Guarrazar que se conservan en la Armería Real de Madrid", publicado en el tomo III del Museo Español de Antigüedades (págs.113-132). The plate was published in the periodical Museo Español de Antigüedades ('Spanish Museum of Antiquities') (volume III, pp.113-132). It is part of the article by Juan de Dios de la Rada y Delgado "Guarrazar Crowns that are kept in the Royal Armory of Madrid", published in volume III of the Spanish Museum of Antiquities (pp.113-132). The Spanish Museum of Antiquities was a periodical of a monumental nature, in the style of the great European publications of the 19th century, directed by Juan de Dios de la Rada between 1872 and 1880. Representation of crowns and various pieces of the Treasure of Guarrazar, stating the object and its scale, made with colored inks, among which the golden ones stand out. With number I the Suintila crown is drawn and the cross that was hung from it; with II, the votive crown of Theodosius; with III the votive cross of Lucecio. The IV corresponds to a fragment of the diadem of a crown; the V is an engraved emerald, the imprint of which is represented increased by number VI to perceive the represented motif. Without number, in the lower part of the plate and on both sides of the hanging letters of the Suintila crown, two arms of the processional cross of Guarrazar are represented. Of all the pieces that are represented in this plate, all of Guarrazar's Treasury, only the arms of the processional cross are in the National Archaeological Museum (Madrid), and corresponds to the inventory number 52561. The other pieces are those of the Royal Palace (Madrid), although Suintila's crown unfortunately disappeared in 1921. Chromolithographed sheet on high grammage bleached and laid paper, bound in cardboard and sewn. Centered stamping, in a box 36 cm high and 24.4 wide, leaving margins on all four sides, housing the data regarding its content on the top and bottom. |
