Summary

[edit]
Description

Tree to 30 m high. Flower, buds, bright 'bristle' juvenile leaves.

Cadaghi is a eucalypt and referred to as a plant native to Australia, in fact native to the Atherton Tablelands, 1,000 kilometres north of Brisbane. It was a popular garden plant about twenty years ago, but its foliage was susceptible to sooty mould and developed an unhealthy appearance in gardens. Consequently it is not grown any more.

There are many of old trees in my suburb, like this one - grows in the street near my office (SW Brisbane)
