Summary

[edit]
Description Two card knitting counters ca. 1930-1945. Left: World War II knitting counter labelled knitting register: a complex knitting row counter made of card with red sliding indicators, made in England 1939-1940. The numerals are for recording rows, increase or decrease, and times. There is a needle gauge and a five-inch ruler, and instructions for use on the back. Right: Bestway knitting counter, probably manufactured in the 1930s, then was re-designed for wartime use and became the one on the left.
