Description
English: Arms of Courtenay of Powderham, Devon: Or, three torteaux a label of three points azure each charged with three plates. These are the arms of the Courtenay Earls of Devon of Tiverton Castle, doubly differenced with a label azure (as can be seen impaling Bohun on the monumental brass in Exeter Cathedral of Sir Peter Courtenay (d.1405), a younger son of Hugh Courtenay, 2nd Earl of Devon (d.1377)), and by a charge of plates on the latter
