Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The old Cowee School was built in 1943 on the site of a former Civilian Conservation Corps Camp out of local stone in the Art Deco style. During the 1950s, a red brick cafeteria building was built behind the original structure and a red brick classroom addition with a stone front was made to one end of the building. It closed in the last decade and is now a local community, arts, and heritage center.
