Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is the lithograph labeled "No.1" of the plate "MONGOL-AMERICANS" in the 1839 book Crania Americana by Samuel George Morton. On page 293 of the book, for Plate 70, it explains that the term "Mongol-Americans" refers to "Eskimaux," another term for Eskimo. Therefore, this is an Eskimo skull. I cleaned up the white around the skull to make it pure white.
