Summary[edit]
DescriptionCrews Begin Work on Temporary Bridge on N.C. 12 on Pea Island (6130256052).jpg |
Workers with Carolina Bridge are using heavy equipment to move materials in place to construct a temporary bridge on N.C. 12 on Pea Island. The bridge will create a temporary span over the breach created when Hurricane Irene struck the Outer Banks last month. The bridge is expected to be complete in about a month. It will allow traffic to once again travel along the highway between Rodanthe and Pea Island. |
