Aquilegia formosa —Crimson Columbine , Western Columbine.

  • View a larger version to see that little green spider on the left.
  • Not the greatest background, but I only saw a few of these flowers, and only about three of them were bright red. None had a nice green background from the perspective I needed to shoot at :( but, they're just starting to bloom in the San Gabriels, so hopefully I'll get a better shot in the next few weeks.
