Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Arthur S. Crites Building at the SW corner of 19th and Eye Streets. Originally built in 1901 by J.B. Berges for the Redlick Brothers department store who occupied the entire building until 1911. Designed by Orville Lee Clark, the building was originally a mixture of Italianate, Gothic and Beaux Arts (A historic photo of the building in the early 1900s (remove %7CA from URL to view)), featuring a corner tower. Arthur S. Crites purchased and remodeled the building into offices in 1937.
