English: September 8, 2017 was a normal day in Simunul, Tawi-Tawi when . . .aaaah!!! Crocodylus porosus!
One of the two known species of the Philippine crocodile and has long been critically endangered since 2008, this saltwater crocodile is the largest among its peers. Measuring at 16ft. and 11 inches (that's longer than your average car which usually measures 15ft.) and after the unfortunate demised of Lolong, this one here is the largest living crocodile in captivity. |
