...La croix de pierre que nous donnons ici (18), et qui est encore placée dans le cimetière de Baret près Barbezieux (Charente), est d'un travail trop grossier pour qu'on ait jamais eu l'idée de la couvrir. Cette croix paraît appartenir à la fin du XI^e siècle...
