Summary

[edit]
Description

For Morning Mary at least the Stereo Pairs Collection is a particular delight! The crispness of the images, the detail of the scene and the fact that they have the advantage of being, mostly, unidentified places gives them that extra bit of stardust! A railway line and bridge crossing a stretch of water somewhere. If the railway line is still in use it would be interesting to see it today?

Photographers: Frederick Holland Mares, James Simonton

Contributor: John Fortune Lawrence

Date: between ca. 1860-1883
