Summary[edit]

Description

From the divine of yesterday to the elegance of Terenure in today's shot from the Eason collection. A familiar junction to Dublin southsiders, it has TWO trams (and not just the one the cataloguer spotted). Even with that, it is quieter than this Mary has ever seen - unless very early on Sunday mornings!

Kudos today to [/photos/mikeegee/ Mike Grimes] and [/photos/beachcomberaustralia/ beachcomberaustralia] for input on the location. And to [/photos/gnmcauley/ Niall McAuley] for refining the date range (to c.1911-1916), before [/photos/91549360@N03/ O Mac] spotted a companion image in the catalogue - which all but confirms this image to be mid-1914 (possibly sometime in or around July 1914)...

Photographer: Unknown

Collection: Eason Photographic Collection

Date: Catalogue range c.1900-1939. Though likely mid-1914
