Description
Deutsch: Figur aus dem Ostgiebel des Zeustempels von Olympia: Stehendes Weib, Sterope, gefunden in vier Stücken: das obere am 10. Januar 1877 etwa 16 Meter nordöstlich vor der Nordostecke des Tempels, die anderen der dritten Säule auf 22 bis 25 Meter gegenüber (vergl. No. 4 und 5). Der rechte Arm ist unter die linke Brust gelegt, die linke Hand war erhoben, um wie es scheint, das sinnend gesenkte Haupt zu stützen. Höhe 2,35 Meter.
