Description
Bosanski: Ferhat-pašina džamija izgrađena je 1579. godine. Bila je uvrštena na UNESCO-vu listu spomenika svjetske kulturne baštine. Nažalost, tužna je sudbina ovog vjerskog objekta. Prvo je znatno oštećena u bombardovanju Banja Luke 1944, da bi potom bila rekonstruisana. Ali, već 1969. veliki zemljotres koji je pogodio Banja Luku opet nanosi štetu ovom velelijepnom vjerskom objektu. Posljednji put je do temelja uništena tokom srpske agresije na Bosnu i Hercegovinu 1993. kada je minirana. 2001. je udaljen kamen temeljac i počinje rekonstrukcija. Danas Ferhat-pašina džamija ponovo blista starim sjajem i upotpunjuje banjalučku panoramu grada.
