Object history |
English: The arms are granted on September 6, 1955. They are derived from a seal of 1792. The plants symbolise the former important cultivation of flax. The hat stands for the former Bavarian Emperor Ludwig, who donate the rights of the court of Rossach in 1337; but probably may be also a sign of the former ruler the Dukes of Saxe-Coburg. |
