Deutsch: Das Wappen entstammt dem der Herren von Staufeneck, deren Sitz in Salach in Ruinen liegt. Die Gemeinde übernahm das Wappen im Jahre 1912.
English: The arms are those of the Lords of Staufeneck. The ruins of their seat are in Salach. The municipality adopted the family arms in 1912.
