Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Wessum: „In Gold (Gelb) ein roter querrechteckiger gotischer Backsteinbau mit Walmdach gestützt auf vier Rundpfeilern und verbunden durch drei Spitzbogenarkaden.“ Das Wappen zeigt das Gebetshaus zum Leiden Christi (Oratorium), eine denkmalgeschützte gotische Kapelle am Kirchplatz in Wessum. Die Farben des Wappens stammen aus dem Wappen des Stiftes Münster.
