Description
English: Strømsø Church (Norwegian: Strømsø kirke), originally known as Holy Cross Church (Hellige Kors kirke), is a white-painted cruciform timber church dating back to 1667. It serves as the Lutheran parish church in Strømsø parish, located in Drammen, Norway, and has 920 seats. The photo shows the exteriorof the church facing Tordenskiolds gate, along with gravestones and grave markers in the churchyard (graveyard) and the iron picket fence surrounding it, outhouses, and more. The picture was taken on a sunny winter day with bare trees and snow on the ground.
Norsk bokmål: Strømsø kirke, opprinnelig Hellige Kors kirke, er en hvitmalt korskirke i tømmer fra 1667. Den er sognekirke i Strømsø sogn i Drammen kommune og har 920 sitteplasser. Se Den norske kirken: Strømsø kirke.
