English: Beni, Nord Kivu, RDC – Le 22 octobre 2020, le Représentant spécial adjoint du Secrétaire général des Nations unies en RDC, David Gressly, a visité le pont Hululu sur la route Beni-Kasindi, zone frontalière avec l’Ouganda. Ce pont très important pour les communautés tant sur le plan économique que sécuritaire s’était effondré 5 mois plus tôt suite à de grosses pluies. Il a été reconstruit par la MONUSCO, en partenariat avec le gouvernement provincial et la Fédération des Entreprises du Congo (FEC/Beni). Photo MONUSCO/ Koumbo Singa Gali Sy
Beni, North Kivu, DRC - On October 22, 2020, the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in the DRC, David Gressly, visited Hululu Bridge on Beni-Kasindi road, a border area with Uganda. This very important bridge for communities both economically and security wise had collapsed 5 months earlier following heavy rains.
