Description
English: 13th century deed and seal of Dale Abbey, Derbyshire, reproduced in Cox, J. Charles (1901). "The Chartulary of the Abbey of Dale". Journal of the Derbyshire Archaeological and Natural History Society 24: 150-1. Bemrose and Sons. Retrieved on 22 August 2019. The seal bears the inscription: S. Ecclesie Sancte Marie de Parco Stanlee. A half-length Madonna and Child and a half-length abbot praying beneath a trefoiled arch.
