Heineman, Bürger der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, geboren 1872, gestorben 1962, hat zusammen mit seiner Ehefrau Hettie in Erinnerung an seine Studienzeit in Hannover und im Andenken an seine Eltern Minna und James Heineman im Jahr 1928 die Minna-James-Heineman-Stiftung gegründet, die in diesem Hause und in den umgebenden Anlagen von 1930 - 1941 ein Altersheim - vorzugsweise für Damen jüdischen Glaubens aus Hannover - unterhielt. Die Bewohnerinnen wurden Opfer Nationalsozialistischer Gewaltherrschaft. Heinemanhof, Hannover 1982" ...
