Description

c/n 7042. Built 1934. Owned by Peter Varcher, this delightful Leopard Moth made her first post-restoration flight in late 2016 and this was her first airshow appearance. Now restored in her original pre-WW2 ‘National Benzole Ltd’ colour scheme, she was impressed to military service during WW2 and given the serial BD148. Post war she had a number of private owners but had not flown for many, many years before her restoration. She is seen heading home after displaying at the 2017 Season Premier Airshow at Old Warden, Bedfordshire, UK.
