Français : Inscription sur marbre, dédicace d'un autel dédié au Numen, puissance divine, d'Auguste, copie du IIe siècle ap. J.-C. d'une inscription plus ancienne commémorant l'élévation de l'autel par les habitants de Narbonne en 11 ap. J.-C. L'inscription détaille l'organisation du culte : les cérémonies ont lieu cinq fois par an à des dates clés de la vie d'Auguste ; les rites, accomplis par trois chevaliers et trois affranchis, consistent en des offrandes en vin, encens et animaux. Narbonne, remployé dans les remparts de la ville au XVIe siècle. Musée Narbo Via.
English: Inscription on marble, dedication of an altar dedicated to Numen, divine power, of Augustus, copy of the 2nd century AD of an older inscription commemorating the raising of the altar by the inhabitants of Narbonne in 11 AD. The inscription details the organization of cult: the ceremonies take place five times a year on key dates in the life of Augustus; the rites, performed by three knights and three freedmen, consist of offerings of wine, incense and animals. Narbonne, reused in the city walls in the 16th century. Narbo Via Museum.
