Description
English: Photo of the exterior of Deichman Bjørvika, the main library of Oslo Public Library (Deichman) located between the Central Station and the Oslo Opera House in Oslo, Norway. Deichman Bjørvika opened in June 2020 and spans 18,000 square meters across six floors, housing 450,000 books. Photo taken by the librarian and "libro tourist" Charlotte Henard in July 2023. The image is part of a Flickr album.

Depuis juin 2020, elle reflète son imposante verrière dans le port d’Oslo. Une bibliothèque de 13500 m2 sur six niveaux pour 450 000 documents. Au sous-sol, un cinéma, un auditorium, un bar…et des centaines de milliers de livres en magasin, mais accessibles. Au rez-de-chaussée : mezzanine avec coin presse, restaurant, café, bureau d’information et machines de prêts. L’étage supérieur abrite les donjons magiques et la fiction pour tous les âges. Au-dessus, c’est l’univers musique, cinéma, BD et jeux, avec fablab, matériel numérique, scène et studios. Pour les essais, le silence et le panorama sur la ville, direction les deux derniers étages. On y trouve même des salles de classe.
Voici à quoi ressemble Deichman Bjørvika, la meilleure bibliothèque publique 2021 du monde, selon le jury de la Fédération internationale des associations de bibliothécaires (IFLA).

Norsk bokmål: Deichman Bjørvika, hovedbiblioteket for Deichman, folkebiblioteket i Oslo kommune. Bygningen ligger i Bjørvika, mellom Oslo Sentralstasjon og Operahuset. Våren 2009 vant Lund Hagem Arkitekter og Atelier Oslo konkurransen om nytt hovedbibliotek. Grunnsteinen ble lagt ned 3. februar 2017, og biblioteket åpnet offisielt 18. juni 2020. Deichman Bjørvika er på 18 000 m2 fordelt på seks etasjer. Biblioteket har 450 000 bøker. Fotografiet er tatt av bibliotekaren og «libroturisten» Charlotte Henard i juli 2023. Bildet inngår i hennes Flickr-album med fotografier fra biblioteket.
