[edit]DescriptionDemining work in Eastern Ukraine 01.jpg |
English: Mined areas are dangerous for both the military and the civilian population.
Deminers work is a process of searching for old fragments and unexploded shells "forgotten" in the field. During their work the deminers also find shells left over from the German-Soviet war. Deminers work in full uniform with metal detectors and probes to find stretch marks, they dig out shells very cautiously. The work area is fenced with milestones: that are wooden pegs with colored markings. Deminers mark explosives found, distance traveled or delineate certain areas. Nataliia AliabievaEnglish: Demining work in Eastern Ukraine |
