Description
English: Blue plaque at Osterlanggatan 51 Gamla stan, Stockholm 111 31 Sweden Built in 1720 by a vintner who opened the famous tavern Den Gyldene Freden (The Golden Peace). The house has been owned by the Swedish Academy since 1920. The tavern was a favourite haunt of the poet Evert Taube and other artists.
Svenska: Huset byggdes på 1720-talet av vinskänken Petter Hellberg, som här öppnade källaren Den Gyldene Freden. Namnet syftar på freden i Nystad 1721. Genom konstnären Anders Zorns testamente kom huset 1920 i Svenska Akademiens ägo. Huset upprustades 1987-89. Källaren har varit stamställe för Evert Taube och andra konstnärer och författare.
