Deutsch: Das Denkmal besteht aus einer Säule mit einem gekrönten Adler, Material Sandstein, aufgestellt ca. 1875. Standort bis ca. April 1960: Oldenburg-Osternburg, Bremer Straße Einmündung Ulmenstraße. Am 3. April 1960 versetzt an den heutigen Standort Oldenburg-Osternburg, Wunderburgpark, Wunderburgstraße. Höhe ca. 7,30 m. Inschrift: "Zum Andenken / an den ruhmreichen / deutsch-französischen / Feldzug 1870=1871." "Den Gefallenen des / Oldb. Dragoner Reg. No 19 / und der / Gemeinde Osternburg / gewidmet."
Die anderen drei Seiten des Sockels enthalten die Namen der Gefallenen des Regiments sowie der Gefallenen der seinerzeit selbständigen Gemeinde Osternburg (heute Stadt Oldenburg) und der Bauernschaft Tweelbäke (heute ebenfalls Stadt Oldenburg).
