Unser Anliegen ist es, dem Gedenken an Menschen, die mit HIV gelebt haben, einen Ort zu widmen. Entstanden im Kontext der ökumenischen Aids-Initiative KIRCHE positHIV ist dieser Ort offen für unterschiedliche Religionen und Weltanschauungen. So sind Menschen mit sehr verschiedenen Lebensgeschichten und ganz unterschiedlichen Umgehensweisen mit HIV und Aids an diesem Ort begraben. Im Gedenken an jede*n Einzelne*n erinnern wir uns der vielen Menschen, die an den Folgen von Aids gestorben sind und auch noch über den Tod hinaus von der Tabuisierung der Krankheit betroffen sind.
