Description
Deutsch: Der „Taubenberg“ liegt mit einer Höhe von 340 m im mittleren Ulfetal, in der Gemarkung von Breitau, einem Ortsteil Sontras, im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis. Auf seiner Kuppe finden sich Überreste einer langgestreckten, rechteckigen Burganlage, von der heute nur noch verflachte Wälle und Gräben erhalten sind. Die dort geborgenen Keramikscherben werden in das 12. und 13. Jahrhundert datiert. Über die Erbauer und die Entstehungszeit ist nichts bekannt, es fehlen jegliche zeitgenössischen Zeugnisse.
